Influence Positive Change for Local Families in Need

Help Break the Chains of Generational Poverty this Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, you have the power to make a real difference in the lives of families struggling with the chains of generational poverty in this community. At New Path, we are dedicated to helping break these chains, offering support and hope through our two core programs: the Weekend Food Bag Program and the Life Restoration Program.

The Weekend Food Bag Program provides meals to students and families, ensuring they have enough to eat over the weekend when school lunches aren't available. For many of our community’s children, this is a lifeline that allows them to focus on their studies, their dreams, and their future, rather than focusing on their hunger.

The Life Restoration Program offers holistic support to families who are facing homelessness and instability in this county. We help them meet basic needs like food and shelter, while also providing, through collaborations with other local nonprofits and organizations, the resources and guidance to rebuild their lives, empowering them to break free from cycles of poverty. New Path rents several apartments in the area to house homeless families transitionally, so they can get back on their feet.

By donating to New Path this Giving Tuesday, you’re helping local families focus on improving their lives instead of worrying about where they will sleep tonight or where to find their next meal. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most, giving them the foundation to build brighter futures.

Your gift can provide food for a family in need, offer shelter and guidance to those struggling with homelessness, and give hope to children who are looking for a way out of hardship.

How You Can Influence Change:

$100 would help equip an unhoused family with essential items upon entering the Life Restoration Program

$250 would provide weekend food bags for a food-insecure student for an entire school year

$600 would pay the utilities for a transitionally-housed family for 3 months

$1,000 would pay one month's rent for a New Path rented apartment unit

$2,500 would provide 400 food-insecure students with weekend food bags

$6,000 would pay the rent for 6 months for a New Path rented apartment unit

No donation is too small to make a big impact. Together, we can give families the support they need to build self-sufficiency and thrive.

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us create a new path of life for our neighbors in need.

Sincerely,
